Dr. Lisa Laughlin
Dr. Lisa Laughlin is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in West Hartford, CT. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine cum laude with a degree in Naturopathic Medicine as well as her Master’s in Human Nutrition. During her medical education she received awards in clinical excellence and community service. Dr. Laughlin grew up in Norwalk, CT and completed her undergraduate education at Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a focus in health psychology. Much of her undergraduate research was focused on the mind-body connection in relation to health and wellness. Health psychology and positive psychology sparked her desire to treat the whole person in the medical field.
Dr. Laughlin began her own private practice in 2014, Naturopathic Wellness, with the goal of working closely with patients on their wellness journey. She is also an adjunct professor at the Physician Assistant Institute at UB teaching both nutritional medicine and integrative medicine. Dr. Laughlin values the tenet of “doctor as teacher” so patients feel empowered to take charge of their health and can see the power of their intentions. Utilizing safe and effective therapies, Dr. Laughlin creates an individualized treatment plan geared to treating the whole person. Patients have improved energy on their way toward optimal wellness.
